Knowledge and skills for the future

Secondary education at Perrott Hill British School spans Year 7 to Year 9 (ages 11-15), following the British curriculum. In Year 9, students begin preparing for their IGCSE exams, recognized by universities and employers worldwide. The Cambridge Lower Secondary Program helps monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement. Year 9 focuses on core subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while also incorporating Global Perspectives to enhance research and writing skills.

During the high school years (Year 10 to Year 13, ages 14-17), students complete their IGCSE exams. Those with limited English proficiency receive additional language support to ensure academic success throughout their studies. This well-rounded approach prepares students for their future academic and professional endeavors.

At the Secondary and High School, students experience the best of international education in the most authentic way, learning from passionate instructors and alongside peers from over 30 countries. Our curricula provide the framework for academic excellence in the STEM subjects and social sciences, with focus on critical thinking, research, problem solving and collaboration skills.
From discoveries of the various components of Drama club’s theatrical productions, in-depth passionate debates of global issues in the Model United Nations program, to the culminating expeditions within the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award program (to name just a few extra-curricular offerings), our students pursue their passions and expand their creativity.
